Aaron Ginns is a Brooklyn-based drummer and bandleader who has performed in more than 20 countries, from New York’s best rooms to the North and South Poles. He leads the Aaron Ginns Trio, longtime house band at the Park Hyatt New York, plays drums in the pop band Lazr Wolf, and teaches privately in Williamsburg.

  • The trio plays jazz standards, bossa, ballads and the occasional pop tune rearranged for piano, bass and drums. For weddings and parties, the band covers soul, funk, Motown and current pop. Requests are welcome with some notice.

  • Yes. I have played in more than 20 countries and travel regularly for weddings and corporate events. Travel costs are worked out up front, before you commit to anything.

  • Popular dates go early, especially weekends in spring and fall. If your date is soon, ask anyway. I can often make it work or point you to a player I trust.

  • Every event is different, so I put together a quote once I know your date, venue, hours and lineup. Send a note through the contact form and I will reply personally.

  • Yes. I teach students of every age and level in Williamsburg, from first-time players to working drummers who want to sharpen their time, reading and feel.
